The investment opportunity

FightNode brings connected feedback to pad and bag training: a physical round becomes a session that fighters and coaches can review, remember and build on.

The foundation is already tangible: working sensor hardware, an Android app, training demonstrations in Denmark and Thailand, and a founder with professional fighting and coaching experience. FightNode combines registered strike scores, hit counts, graphs, history and optional video in one training workflow.

The opportunity is to build a business around that connection between equipment and coaching. FightNodePad provides a clear product entry point, while the app and BagNode extend the experience across training formats. Gyms and coaches are the initial commercial focus.

What an investment would build on

A working product and a defined sporting use case. The next stage connects this foundation to production, gym partnerships and customer delivery, with resources tied to concrete milestones.

A physical product

Connected striking equipment supported by an app that records and presents training sessions.

A founder from the sport

Product decisions informed by experience as a professional fighter and martial arts coach.

Room to develop

Equipment sales as the proposed core, with further opportunities in gym software and organised challenges.

Value inside the gym

Pad and bag work give coaches a direct view of technique and effort. FightNode adds a digital record to that interaction, so a round can be revisited after the gloves come off.

Consider a coached pad session: the fighter completes a drill, the app records registered strikes and FP scores, and the coach reviews the session with the athlete. Optional video adds the movements behind the numbers. History lets them return to earlier sessions as part of the training conversation.

For fighters

Immediate session feedback, personal training history and a way to revisit recorded rounds.

For coaches

Scores, graphs and optional video alongside their own observation, helping structure review and the next drill.

For gyms

A connected training experience that can support coached sessions, shared-screen activities and gym challenges.

The intended customer value is practical: make training easier to review and more engaging to take part in. FightNode supports the coach’s judgement; technique and context remain central to interpreting a session.

FightNodePad: the product entry point

A sensor-equipped striking pad for coach-led pad work and compatible wall-mounted training. Bluetooth connects the pad to the Android app, which presents registered hits and FP results. Calibration and device tools support setup.

The app: the session record

The Android app brings together profiles, training modes, session history, live graphs, camera recording, private groups and optional ranking submission. A compatible screen-sharing setup can put the phone view on a larger display. An iPhone version is planned.

BagNode: extending the training environment

BagNode connects compatible bag sensors to the same app experience. Its development includes zone-based strike detection, with ongoing work on consistent detection across zones and training conditions. Pad and bag development have separate technical records.

The product proposition is the connected workflow: equipment, session data and review in one experience. The commercial focus is on how well that workflow serves everyday coaching.

Calibration and hardware development

FightNodePad development includes completed calibration work and practical hardware testing. Dennis Købke reports that he has calibrated the FightNodePads so they measure alike, and has driven a car over a FightNodePad as a durability test.

Calibration across pads

The founder reports matching measurements after calibration. Recording the procedure and comparison readings provides a basis for demonstrating the setup to partners and applying consistent production checks.

Practical hardware testing

The vehicle test is a concrete development activity. A record of its conditions and outcome, together with training-use records, will make the hardware work easier to assess and build on.

A two-year warranty ambition

FightNode is working toward offering a two-year product warranty for FightNodePad. This goal informs the focus on durable hardware, quality checks and customer support. Coverage and terms will be defined before the warranty is offered.

What the training score means

FightNode Power (FP) is an internal training score. The app displays maximum, average and total FP; total FP is the sum of registered hit scores. FP is not a measurement expressed in newtons or kilograms. Equipment, setup and drill conditions matter when interpreting results.

The calibration and vehicle-test descriptions are based on the founder’s account. They do not specify an independently certified accuracy tolerance or service life. The technical record should include comparison readings, vehicle-test conditions and outcomes, and representative detection and contact-to-screen measurements.

From fighting experience to gym development

Built by someone who knows the training floor

Founder Dennis Købke brings experience as a professional Muay Thai fighter and martial arts coach. His published founder account records European titles across three federations and a career of 45 fights, with 40 wins and 5 losses.

That background gives FightNode a direct connection to the work it is designed to support: pad rounds, coaching, repetition and review. The product brings that sporting perspective together with sensor hardware and software development.

Training settings in Denmark and Thailand

Public training material features Dokbua Muay Thai Gym and Nong Toom Muay Thai Gym in Thailand, and ArteSuave in Denmark. Dokbua is listed as testing in progress; Nong Toom and ArteSuave feature training demonstrations. Copenhagen Muay Thai is listed as coming soon.

These activities provide practical settings for demonstrating the product and gathering coaching feedback. They are described by their actual participation status, rather than presented as customer contracts.

Commercial model and route to market

The proposed route to market starts with gyms and coaches. A focused equipment offering, supported setup and direct product demonstrations give FightNode a concrete way to introduce the system to people who can use it in training.

Core offering

Equipment

FightNodePad and compatible equipment, with setup and support forming part of the customer experience.

Potential extension

Gym software

Further coaching, reporting and group-management services shaped around gym needs.

Potential extension

Events and challenges

Organised gym activities using session results and optional video-linked ranking, with defined equipment requirements and rules.

From demonstration to customer relationship

The proposed sales process is straightforward: show the system in a training session, discuss the gym’s use case, agree an equipment package and support setup. Ongoing feedback then informs the product and the services offered alongside it.

Direct gym relationships are the initial focus. Distribution partners and broader platform support can extend reach as production and support capacity develop. Software and event services are future commercial options, rather than assumed recurring income.

Commercial information on request

Milestones for the next stage

The following proposed milestones connect investment to deliverables. Scope, sequencing and timing will be agreed through a costed plan with the relevant partners; they are not a fixed launch timetable.

01 Product record

Make completed work easy to inspect

Bring together the product demonstration, calibration procedure, comparison readings and hardware-test records. Keep FightNodePad and BagNode findings distinct.

Deliverable: A clear technical package covering current capabilities, completed tests and the next engineering priorities.

02 Production

Prepare a repeatable build and delivery process

Define assembly procedures, supplier requirements, quality checks, repair arrangements and applicable product compliance. Develop the terms and support provision for the two-year warranty ambition.

Building a dependable customer experience

The value of connected equipment continues after the sale. FightNode’s delivery plan needs to make setup, training and support part of the same product experience.

Consistent setup and quality checks
Use documented calibration and assembly procedures, with separate performance records for pad and bag hardware.
Durability, repair and warranty support
Build on practical hardware tests with endurance records and clear repair arrangements. Include warranty provision in the production economics.
Responsible video and ranking
Maintain explicit publication consent and a clear review process. Accepted public ranking videos have audio removed under the current workflow.
Capacity to deliver
Define engineering, production and customer-support responsibilities alongside the founder’s product leadership.

These workstreams address the practical execution risks of a connected hardware business and give partners specific areas to assess as the company develops.

Build the next stage with FightNode

FightNode welcomes conversations with investors and strategic partners who can help bring connected pad and bag training to more gyms.

The starting point is the existing hardware, Android app, founder experience and gym development work. Capital would support production preparation, focused product engineering, gym partnerships and customer delivery. Partners may also contribute manufacturing knowledge, distribution relationships or operational capacity.

A focused investment discussion

A first conversation can combine a product demonstration with a review of the commercial model and the resources needed for the next milestones. Product pricing, production economics, funding requirements and investment terms are available for direct discussion with Dennis.

The funding scope should follow the agreed delivery plan. This keeps the conversation tied to what the investment will produce: equipment ready for delivery, a supported gym offer and the capacity to serve customers.
